Speaker Bio:
Dara is the Executive Director of ReCreate, a new Creative Reuse social enterprise which collects for no charge unused and unwanted materials from businesses and then stores them in the Warehouse of Wonders in Ballymount. The materials are then available for free in unlimited quantities to early childhood organisations, schools and facilitators of special needs and community groups for use in all kinds of educational and creative projects. ReCreate achieves 3 key social objectives – stimulating creativity in individuals across society, saving schools / groups on their arts supplies budgets and by diverting materials from landfill or recycling.
